I would like to see some more features that allow for the construction of outlying suburban areas.
I wonder if the streets could be built with bends and cul-de-sacs. Previous city building games work on a grid plan which means streets can technically only go in line with the grid or diagonally across it.
Not only is the creation of suburban residential areas enjoyable, but its realistic.
Many games allow you to build a business district with 50 floor sky-scrapers yet they have populations of under 50,000 people which is highly unrealistic.
Sprawling suburbs are needed to house the hundreds of thousands of commuters that would travel to the city to work, thus creating a vibrant down-town district with skyscrapers etc.
